About Wild Minder

Wild Minder is a story-led textile art brand rooted in nature, folklore, and transformation. Each piece begins with a moment of observation — a landscape, creature, or quiet symbol from the natural world — and is reimagined through illustration, fabric painting, and free-motion embroidery.

Every design is created to tell a story, drawing on the emotions, meanings, and myths woven through nature and the UK countryside. Made slowly using thoughtful and often reclaimed materials, these pieces become small chapters of a larger story for those who feel connected to the wild and the quiet magic within it.

From one-of-a-kind clothing to talismans, patches, and Scrappy Bags, each creation is designed to be worn, carried, or displayed as a symbol of that connection.

Wild Minders notice the stories in nature and carry them forward. When you welcome a piece into your life, you become part of that story — someone who sees the meaning held in the natural world and helps keep it alive.

Wild Minder is more than a brand. It is a growing community of people united by a love for nature, its stories and symbolism, and a shared desire to protect it.

The Team

Lucy

Owner

Wild Minder is my pride and joy, but it wouldn’t be what it is today without the amazing team below! For as long as I can remember, I’ve dreamt of starting my own little venture. From selling painted stones outside my house at the age of eight to transforming my bedroom into a beauty salon and charging 50p for a manicure, I was always creating something. (Read more about these early adventures here.)

HR

What Merrill lacks in work ethic (often found snoozing on the job!) she more than makes up for in morale. Always ready to lend a paw to her fellow team members. She’s the first to offer support, whether that’s a wag of encouragement or just her uplifting presence. A true lover of the outdoors. Merrill takes her breaks very seriously, often stopping to sniff the flowers and savour the moment.

Merrill has been crowned “Employee of the Week” every single week since Wild Minder began. A well deserved title for such a loyal and enthusiastic team member!

Support Assistant

Wild Minder wouldn’t be what it is without Tom. For starters, it wouldn’t even be called Wild Minder, that was his idea! He’s my go-to soundboard for all my ideas and is always willing to help with anything, even if it means standing still holding a light above his head for as long as needed. He’s also the technical wizard behind photographing my embroidery, so I can turn them into prints. His level-headed problem-solving keeps everything on track, and Wild Minder truly wouldn’t be the same without him.
