Custom Pet Portrait Commission - 10"x10" Artwork

A one-of-a-kind portrait of your beloved pet, created by hand using fabric paint and free-motion embroidery.

Each portrait begins with your own reference photo. I hand-paint the base likeness onto textile before bringing your pet to life with free-motion embroidery, capturing their unique markings, colouring, texture and expression in layers of paint and thread.

The finished artwork is a tactile, contemporary portrait designed to celebrate the character of the animal you know and love.

How it works

1. Place your order and choose whether you’d like your artwork framed or unframed.
2. After purchase, I’ll be in touch with details on where to send your pet’s reference photo.
3. You can also share any details you’d particularly like me to capture - such as distinctive markings, colouring, expression or little features that make them unmistakably yours.
4. I’ll create a rough digital design for you to approve before beginning the final artwork.
5. Your approved design is then hand-painted and finished with free-motion embroidery.

Each portrait is individually created from your chosen photograph, so no two pieces are exactly alike.

Framed: Your artwork will be professionally presented in a suitable frame, ready to hang and display.

Unframed: Your artwork will be created on a 10 × 10 inch stretched canvas, ready to display as it is or frame according to your preference.

Please note that the 6-week turnaround refers to the time spent creating the artwork and begins once your commission enters production.
